The post that never went up...
Dreaming of Summer..Or warmer weather
So here's to the post we've all been awaiting, or at least I have. I planned to post this over the summer but I guess I could say procrastination got the best of me, although that's really not a plausible excuse. This was suppose to be a post about my favorite summer outfit but I waited so long to blog it summer turned into fall, which turned into winter, which is almost over. And that was a mouth full. Anyways, I thought I'd still post it because it was one of the first pictures I displayed on my new Instagram about my blog and I'm sticking to it. Yah feel me? So yes, I know we're in winter but since this is my first blog post and I promised it would be about my summer outfit, here it is!

The gray helped the transition from a day friendly outfit to a night out on the Highline (which btw I recommend anyone in the NYC area to check out during the summer because it's absolutely breathtaking) and the jeans added the perfect washout of color with the array of patterned flowers.
The color of my accessories happened to align perfectly with the colors on the flowers as well. Summertime for me is the season for flats, and these are one of my favorite pairs. They aren't anything fancy but they still stand out from your ordinary black flats by adding the front studs. To finish off the outfit I added a flannel shirt, tied along my waist, in case it got chillier at night so I could throw on the extra layer. There's the first thing about me you'll learn, I love my layers.
In the future I'll try to find links to each item, so bare with me I'm learning as I go. Plus majority of the things I'm wearing are over a year to two years old and as we all know in fashion one day it's in, the next day its out. Thanks for checking this out and if you've read this far, I promise to blog as much as I can for you! Yes, you! And thanks to my awesome photographer who somehow captured all these great photos of me, you rock!
Until next time,
Sayara :)
